{"id":271,"date":"2018-09-17T14:25:13","date_gmt":"2018-09-17T12:25:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.smartlux.com\/sdl\/?p=271"},"modified":"2019-05-21T18:08:12","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T16:08:12","slug":"version-0-7-2-adam-equipment-scales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smartlux.com\/sdl\/version-0-7-2-adam-equipment-scales\/","title":{"rendered":"Version 0.7.2 &#8211; New device profiles for Adam Equipment scales"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Version 0.7.2 of our data logging software includes tested* device profiles for the following scales made by Adam Equipment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CBK, *GBK, GFK\u00a0(GK indicator): We recommend setting &#8220;C8 LAb&#8221; to &#8220;off&#8221; in the menu of your scale, particularly if you&#8217;re using continuous transmission mode &#8220;Ct StA&#8221; oder &#8220;Ct AnY&#8221;).<\/li>\n<li>*CPWplus: Set the scale to &#8220;trn 2&#8221; for continuous transmission or to &#8220;trn 3&#8221; to use polling (or the print button on the scale).<\/li>\n<li>GBC, GFC\u00a0(GC counting indicator): You can choose to capture the weight or the number of pieces. *We&#8217;ll receive a GBC counting scale later this week for tests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-272\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smartlux.com\/sdl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/09\/adam-equipment-scales.png\" alt=\"Adam Equipment Scales\" width=\"547\" height=\"608\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.smartlux.com\/sdl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/09\/adam-equipment-scales.png 547w, https:\/\/www.smartlux.com\/sdl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/09\/adam-equipment-scales-270x300.png 270w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 547px) 100vw, 547px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These new profiles make it easy to set the default RS-232 parameters and the command to poll the weight: simply press the &#8220;Set default&#8230;&#8221; buttons (available in the <strong>Device<\/strong> and <strong>Timer<\/strong> tabs):<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-273\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smartlux.com\/sdl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/09\/adam-equipment-poll-weight.png\" alt=\"Poll weight from Adam Equipment scale using timer\" width=\"547\" height=\"608\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.smartlux.com\/sdl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/09\/adam-equipment-poll-weight.png 547w, https:\/\/www.smartlux.com\/sdl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/09\/adam-equipment-poll-weight-270x300.png 270w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 547px) 100vw, 547px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"note\">Please note that our software\u00a0<strong>works with most scales and balances<\/strong> even if no pre-defined device profile is available yet: choose &#8220;Generic measuring instrument&#8221; and set the interface parameters and the polling command manually (your device manual should contain the necessary information).
