Version 0.3.0 released

Version 0.3.0 of our TCP testing utility allows you to enter the command which you want to send to the TCP server in hexadecimal format (2 hexadecimal characters per byte, separated by a blank space). The “immediate print” command for Ohaus scales is set as the default value. The corresponding ASCII text is shown for reference purposes and cannot be directly edited.

We’ve also improved the tab order of the user interface.

TCP test utility released – version 0.2.4

TCPTester is a free utility, originally developed to test communication with scales and balances over TCP/IP. It acts as a TCP client, opens a persistent socket connection to a TCP server and sends a user-defined command. Once a reply has been received, the command is repeated. A timeout can be specified, after which a timeout error is logged.

Version 0.2.4 is available now. Please note that this is very early release. TCPTester will update automatically when a new version is released.
